Matheson Island Tour   (Aug 22 – 10:00 AM)

The rugged beauty and compelling history of the Lake Winnipeg Narrows will be on full display during the Matheson Island Kayak Tour, located 2.5 hours north of Winnipeg.  Depending on weather conditions, the exact tour details will vary, including a day paddle from Matheson Island to Black Bear Island, exploration of the fine sand beaches of the west side of Matheson Island, and/or a paddle into Jackpine Bay to the Pine Dock caves to explore on foot.  Allow for 6 hours.

This tour takes place on Lake Winnipeg which could present challenging conditions.  Previous lake kayaking experience is required. 

Rates: Adult – $125.00  (pay w/ PayPal or CC online, or Cash on day of tour)

Limited seats & Booking Priority Procedure: please note that priority is given to Online/Pre-paid bookings; the remaining spots are provided to those who ‘Walk-Up’ on the day of tour. Cash only will be accepted at the launch site. If you intend on ‘Walking Up’, please check our Online Calendar for spot availability prior to com-ing out. Full payment is required prior to launch. Signed waivers are required by all participants.
